NISSAN ANNOUNCES 2002 SENTRA SE-R PRICING
The all-new SE-R with manual transmission has a base Manufacturer's Suggested
Retail Price (MSRP) of $19,998. The new SE-R with automatic transmission has an
MSRP of $20,998 while the performance-based SE-R Spec V with 6-speed manual
transmission and helical limited-slip differential starts at $21,498. All
SE-R models will go on sale mid-November at Nissan dealers nationwide.
An all-new 2.5-litre 4-cylinder powers both versions of the SE-R.
The engine produces 175 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque in the SE-R Spec V
model and 165 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque in the SE-R.
The SE-R was designed to give the flavour of the Nissan Skyline sports
sedan. Building upon the style set forward on the fifth generation Sentra
4-door sedan, an aggressive front fascia with a mesh-pattern grille
and large fog lights have been added. The side view is filled with body-colour
side sill extensions and large wheels and tires - 16-inch on SE-R and 17-inch on
SE-R Spec V models. A rear spoiler and large chrome exhaust provide the
final touch.
Both SE-R and SE-R Spec V models are available with a Sport Package which
includes a 300 watt Rockford Fosgate CD audio system, Power Sliding Glass
Sunroof , ABS Brakes and a Anti-theft/Immobilizer Key System.
