CanadianAutoReview.com
was launched by Sammy Chan 陳浩川一手創辦 in February of
2000 (that's more than 11 years ago). CanadianAutoReview is NOT
a car dealer nor a manufacturer's site, but an online resource that provides you
(Canadian Chinese consumers in particular) with information on automotive news
as well as pictorial and written reviews of new
vehicles on the market.
Initially, CanadianAutoReview.com was presented and formulated in Chinese hoping to serve the growing Canadian Chinese car-buying consumers. With more and more readers persuading and encouraging us to add English content to increase readership, yours truly eventually accepted the challenge and started to write reviews in English as well. Claiming that our site is the first and only English/Chinese Automotive Website in Canada is definitely not without base. Having been in the field of automotive journalism for 22 years, I (Sammy Chan) can count the number of Chinese automotive journalists working in this field and to find another similar website is simply be a challenge that I would love to see and long for.
Although there are many sites out there involved with things automotive, but to find one that's truly Canadian is also a challenge. What makes this site stand out from the others are the visual details and exclusive photography (photos taken by the tester) that's so important in helping vehicles express their identity, that words simply can not provide. This site is also sponsor and advertisement free to enable us to maintain our unbiased attitude and corrupt-free principles.
